AOC Australia Awards

AOC Australia's awards program recognises the achievement of our members in their pursuit of excellence in the IW profession. Awards are open for nomination throughout the year and are awarded at the AOC Australia Gala Awards Night each year. AOC Australia awards supplement the global AOC awards program.

Nomination information: Nominations can be made through the submission form below to apply or nominate for any of our awards. Completed applications will also need to submit a CV and high-resolution portrait photograph for promotional use - if you have nominated someone else, we will get in touch with them to provide these items. Deadline for nominations for Calendar Year 2025 will be announced at a later date - for announcements, follow our LinkedIn. Winners announced at the Awards Gala, with finalists provided notice 1 month prior. There is no cost to apply or nominate.

Judging Process: Judging is conducted by the AOC Australia 'Awards Sub-Committee' members. The CV will have a 50% weighting (including reference), and the description of achievements will have a 50% weighting.

What happens once I'm nominated? Join us for an elegant evening celebrating excellence in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) and Information Warfare (IW) at the AOC Australia Awards Gala! The Awards Gala is inclusive for all convention Registrations, however if you are not attending the convention but would like to purchase tickets to the Gala separately you may do so.

2024 AWARD WINNERS

The 2024 Awards Gala was held at the National Arboretum, in Canberra on 19 September 2024, MC'd by Florian Sindel of Nova Systems. A night of industry networking, and celebration of those who have shown excellence in the EW profession over the last 12 months.

AOC Australia recognized a broad range of people who have made significant contributions to Electromagnetic Warfare, Cyber Warfare, and Information Operations. The awards recognized leaders who show technical excellence, as well as passion, dedication, and collaboration that drive innovation in our industry.

The individuals recognised in the AOC Awards are people who work in the shadows of Defence and National Security, and as such the names and justifications for the awards will not be listed in full here, however we recognise the remarkable efforts they have gone to shape the future of Australia's defence capabilities.
